Windows XP in Parallels boots OK. Will not boot natively in Bootcamp using the Alt startup key as part of Mac normal start. Screen shows the two choices: Mac or Windows, but choosing Windows produces the black 'apology' windows screen that offers Windows normal, Safe Mode, etc. Choosing any of those reboots the Mac with the same alt key startup choice of Mac or Windows.
Running Parallels from the Mac allows Windows to boot normally.
Have been running 10.5.2 plus Parallels plus Bootcamp normally for weeks with no problems. No recent system configuration changes known other than taking the normal Mac and Windows system weekly updates.
Any ideas? and thanks!
